The project deals with a Transport Hub in Aranjuez (Madrid), it is the result of an industrial design altered by the services in the cultural context of the royal gardens.
La estrategia del proyecto es por tanto valorar este paisaje deteriorado por el ferrocarril y limpiar el borde que supone para la ciudad recuperando los jardines, por tanto el proyecto no introduce obstáculos en el diálogo de las dos piezas que limitan este paisaje, el palacio y la estación.
The strategy is to improve the landscape, damaged by the railroad and the years, cleaning the edge that this railway supposes for the city and recovering the royal gardens, removing the edification and the dialogue of just two pieces, the Royal Palace and the new station.
Se sitúa al otro lado de la antigua estación y el programa de autobuses soterrado frente a esta de manera que no se altera el paisaje ni sus vistas, manteniéndose paralela al resto del programa.
Los autobuses a pesar de estar soterrados se encuentran en una pieza abierta en sus laterales que proporcionan además de luz natural y ventilación, una conexión visual con los jardines, su cubierta es además la lonja de acceso a la antigua estación.

Toda la estación se encuentra perforada por pilares pasantes que hacen las veces de lucernarios hasta la zona inferior, envueltos en una piel de vidrio que hace mas clara su lectura.
The interior space reflects these intentions by generating double height spaces from which you can observe the trains or the upper structure from where the station is hanging.
The whole station is perforated by the pillars so they serve as skylights for the bottom of the station, it's all wrapped in a skin of glass making much easier to understand the structure.
